Monochrome

I found a new setting on my camera (well - I knew it was there but I hadn't really used it much until today). It takes pictures in black and white. True black and white, no changing over in PhotoShop from color. I still haven't been able to really sit down and learn the ins and outs of what manual photography can do for me, but this is a start.... Maybe in a few years when the kids are in school I might have a second to learn something for real.... until then it's trial and error....
